I am Karla Kellum my Digitals Scrapbooking Design name is Lifesong Kreations. I am a mom of two was a single mom for 9 years. I like gardens not so much gardening as they are lots of work, but I have a nice size perennial garden out back, what’s nice about perennials is they come back year after year. I love the LORD so a lot of my writing centers around that and it has been my main objective since I started designing to help people scrap their faith. This can be tough for many as they don’t know how to express God is everyday life. That is exactly where he wants to be and we can glorify our heavenly Father in the ordinary. I have also found it challenging to create kits beyond the usual christian symbols, but have enjoyed the journey God has taken me on. I find the expression of faith truly comes from Gods Word and our words in expressing our values, gratitude, beliefs, faith and so on. I began making just general kits when it came to elements and splashed it with word art, but I still felt pulled to go further.
Before I even found digital scrapbooking I published a book of poems that I had written over several years. I felt God pulling me back to the love of writing poems and decided to offer custom poem writing for scrappers to use in their layouts. People need to know what I can do, they will want proof that my work is worth paying for. I started out by giving away poems at NSD event at Digitals and had a contest to win free poems at my blog. Recently I started a site where people could view my poems and add their own…I am also going to expand it into a resource for other sites that are already established as reinventing the wheel would be unnecessary use of my time.
My writing here is everything that God inspires me to write based on my experiences in life…times of growth, struggles, and the things that have me in awe of this loving Father that we have.
